2022 Community Grants Program Recipients
The BCM annual community grant program is designed to support local organizations and initiatives that make a positive impact in the community. The grant recipients are carefully selected based on their mission, the impact they have on the community, and the sustainability of their project. The organizations and initiatives that receive funding through this program play a vital role in making our community a better place for everyone.
The following is a list of the organizations that have been selected as this year’s grant recipients:
Baby’s Breath Canada
Baby’s Breath Canada is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising awareness about the risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and providing support for families who have lost a child to SIDS. Their purpose is to reduce the incidence of SIDS and to provide emotional and practical support to families who have been affected by it.

Community Crew
Community Crew Niagara is a non-profit organization that aims to empower and engage youth to become active and responsible citizens in their communities through various programs and activities. The Niagara SPCA is an animal welfare organization that aims to protect and improve the lives of animals in Niagara County. TASTE Hospice Niagara

Kristen French Child Advocacy Center
The Kristen French Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization that aims to provide a safe and child-friendly environment for children and youth who have been the victims of abuse, neglect, or other forms of violence. Their purpose is to ensure that children and youth receive the necessary support, resources and services to help them heal and to bring offenders to justice. This includes providing coordinated and comprehensive services such as forensic interviews, medical evaluations, counseling, and court accompaniment.
